Plymouth Palestine Solidarity Campaign

We campaign for the rights of the people of Palestine and against the illegal and inhuman treatment of Palestinian people by the Israeli Government. We welcome new members.

We have been holding weekly rallies in Plymouth since October 2023, in protest at the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

We meet every Saturday at 12:00, Place de Brest at the junction of Armada Way & Cornwall Street, by Barclay's Bank, PL1 1LA.

Other organisations campaigning for Palestinians

People often ask what they can do to help people in Palestine. As a group PPSC have often collected money for Medical Aid for Palestinians

Their website says :

"Through our programmes in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and Lebanon, we work with trusted and experienced local partners to achieve this vision. Our programmes, designed and delivered by Palestinians, provide access to essential health services and build local knowledge and skills to address Palestinian health problems. In times of humanitarian emergency, we are ready to respond rapidly with aid and assistance."

The governments of several countries; the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Australia, Canada and Finland, have said they will stop funding UNRWA, the United Nations Relief & Works Agency, which provides aid; food, water, shelter, schools and health care facilities to Palestinian refugees in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Jordan. This appears to be a direct violation of the January 2024 ruling of the ICJ and clearly places those governments in breach of the genocide convention.

You can donate to UNRWA directly
